What should I expect before my initial appointment?
During your FREE 15-minute consultation, I will answer any questions you may have, gain a general understanding of your needs, and will share about how I work to determine if we are a good fit. If so, I will help schedule you for your first appointment. Before your first session, you will receive a link to your HIPAA-compliant portal and will need to complete required intake paperwork to help us get started.
What should I expect during my initial appointment?
We will discuss your situation and what you hope to gain from the therapeutic experience. Together, we will establish goals and determine how often we'll meet to help you work towards achieving them.
Where are you located?
Check out my office space and directions for in person appointments. I also offer telehealth sessions using Simple Practice, a secure, confidential, HIPAA-compliant portal.
I'm already a client. How do I access my online account?
Current clients can log on to their confidential HIPAA-compliant online account to complete new client paperwork, sign up for automated session reminders, provide payment, or send a secure message to your therapist. Access your client portal.
Do you take insurance?
I do not take any forms of insurance at this time. However, many clients are able to get a percentage of out of network reimbursement by submitting a Superbill which I am happy to provide. It is up to you to contact your provider to verify how your plan will compensate you for psychotherapy services.
What are your rates?

How do you accept payment?
I accept all major credit and debit cards, as well as HSA and FSA cards. I request clients keep a card on file, which will be billed on the day of your session. If you prefer to pay by a different method, we can discuss to see if I am able to accommodate.
What is a Good Faith Estimate?
Under Section 2799B-6 of the Public Health Service Act, health care providers and health care facilities are required to inform individuals who are not enrolled in 6a plan or coverage or a Federal health care program, or not seeking to file a claim with their plan or coverage both orally and in writing of their ability, upon request or at the time of scheduling health care items and services, to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” of expected charges.
You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.
Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.
If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.
Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
